Development Log #7
We've been working on getting the game to be fully playable in that you can walk through the levels at least. Cole blocked out level 1, Lily migrated level 3 from the previous project over to the new project. Lily also blueprinted ladders that the player can go up for the 2D sidescrolling sections. Kolt rigged the character and has been working on texturing for us to put it into the game. Madeline found an asset pack we intend to use and has also been adding the sounds she gathered for the game to the project. She has also been working on some art for the title screen and HUD.
With our intro animation, Damianna has completed work on most of the animation itself. She's working on making concept art for the 3D background she wants the team to make for her in Unreal.
Going forwards Kolt will create animations for the character and get those in engine. Cole will replace the blockouts with textured assets from the pack we chose. Lily will be adding the abilities as well as state machines for both the ladders and bridges to make them look and function like they are growing. Madeline will be working on creating any additional art assets we need for the game as well as helping out where needed on other parts.
